Just finished up Phase One of my detox program, the Ultimate Reset!! This is not a “cleanse” so don’t be fooled. The focus of this program is to reset the body to “factory settings” again so It can work at optimal capacity.
I decided to do this 21 day program several weeks ago. I noticed that I was feeling really tired and run down, which was alarming to me. I wasn’t sleeping well, and was always tired. I also have had some really terrible endometriosis pains in the last several months. So it seemed like the perfect time to rid my body of the JUNK.
Just because I’m a health coach doesn’t mean I eat perfect all the time. In fact this Summer I have eaten the WORST I have in a LONG time. I’m actually about 10 lbs. heavier than last Summer.
I’ve been eating foods I don’t normally eat, doing a lot of snacking and having way too many glasses of wine. I don’t know about you, but for me, unhealthy eating/drinking leads to MORE unhealthy eating/drinking. My body was actually CRAVING more crap! So for a the last seven days it’s been LOTS of fruits and veggies, lean protein, digestive supplements and
Sounds like no fun right? BUT being tired, sluggish and feeling uncomfortable is NOT FUN EITHER!
Even though weight loss isn’t my main focus, I’ve been keeping track and I’m down 5 lbs. But what I’m noticing the MOST is all physical.
❌Obvious tummy de-fluffing
❌No cravings for caffeine
❌Sleeping like a CHAMP!!
I did have a pretty serious detox headache Tuesday, but after that it’s been amazing! I’m not hungry–if you follow my snapchat you see ALL the food I’m mowing down. Im completely satisfied and fueled appropriately for each day.
Nutrition is so TERRIBLY underestimated you guys!! It is such a HUGE part of weight loss, having energy and feeling good. If I can teach you anything it’s to fuel your body properly and that you don’t know how GOOD you have been created to FEEL until you feel GOOD!
If you are nervous to jump into a program like this, have questions about it, or just want to LEARN how to eat better, please reach out! I want to pass alone as much info as I can to those struggling!
