I love Timehop because it’s such a great reminder of the FUN things you’ve done in the past! Time spent with friends and family, travels, holidays, etc. It’s also such a great reminder of how far I’ve come along in my fitness journey.
Two years ago, I was at my heaviest weight. I was MISERABLE! I had been trying different things to lose weight, cutting calories, adding calories, restricting myself, drinking weird juices. I was exercising a lot, running miles and miles each week, even running several half-marathons. But I continued to gain weight! I was so frustrated!
I came across a friend posting about this new program she had followed to lose her baby weight, called the 21 Day Fix. I have always tried to steer clear of trendy weight loss fads, but I trusted her. So I invested in a challenge pack: the 21 Day Fix workouts, containers and Shakeology. I decided I was all in and ready to give it my all for 21 days. I had the support of an online group to help me navigate the program and help me with meal planning. I learned SO MUCH about eating and food! No wonder I couldn’t lose weight, I was eating all wrong!
Long story short, I lost 15 lbs. in the 21 days–IT WORKED! I was so excited that I began to share my success with friends and family, who were also quick to jump on board and get healthy. It felt SO GOOD to have accomplished something I had been trying to do for a long time–lose weight and feel like myself again.
Two years later, and I’ve completely changed my body composition. I have more muscle and less fat. Shopping for clothes is fun again. I can walk into my closet and pick out any outfit. My skin is glowing and my hair and nails are strong from the daily nutrition I get from Shakeology. I FEEL healthier on the inside because I’m finally nourishing my body with the right kinds of foods.
Bottom line, this worked for me and it can work for you too! There is no secret here, just daily exercise (only 30 minutes!) and eating clean foods in the correct portions.
